Very pretty and rare closed mouth taxidermy tiger skin rug by Van-Ingen of Mysore, India - fantastic modeled head giving an amazing look to this young tiger.
Length - 2.75 metres x 1.8 metres across the front paws.
Van Ingen were and still are the most highly respected taxidermist of the 20th century - they prepared trophies for British and Indian Royalty and operated from 1890 - 1998
